Surfrider NYC
& Will Skudin

Visiting

Earlier this summer, we hosted Surfrider’s NYC chapter meeting at our shop in SoHo where New York-native big wave surfer Will Skudin came by to talk. We briefly caught up with Skudin to hear more about his ongoing efforts to promote ocean conservancy.

Boo Hooray

Started in 2010 by Johan Kugelberg, Boo-Hooray celebrates and preserves ephemera from the counter-cultural movements of the 20th and 21st centuries. With its “Summer Rental” pop-up currently taking place in Montauk, we sat down with Kugelberg and his wife Dr. Lila Wolfe to discuss Boo-Hooray’s origins and future plans.

On a recent trip to Japan, we visited the workshop where our leather goods are produced to see our Ryan Card Holder being built first-hand.

Owl Chapman Surfboards

Long time life guard Rick Williams and waterman Andy St. Onge have spent the better part of their adulthoods patroling the waters of Oahu’s North Shore. When it comes to chasing big waves, their allegiance lies with boards shaped by one man: Owl Chapman.

Some people can be transported to a specific place in time when they smell a particular scent. For Rafael Prieto, the creative mind behind Casa Bosques chocolates, taste does the same thing.

The Flower Shop

Our good friends Ronnie and Dylan just opened The Flower Shop restaurant and bar in the Lower East Side. We plan on spending some time here. Here are some detail photos of the place explaining why we think it’s so special. 107 Eldridge St, New York, NY 10002
